    I love the colors and textures in your image here. Any time we went to the beach in Florida, I would always look for sand dollars but rarely ever found any. I also enjoyed the poem, and it reminded me of a quote by Carl Sandburg, who said “Time is the coin of your life. It is the only coin you have, and only you can determine how it will be spent. Be careful lest you let other people spend it for you.” 🙂

    • Sand dollars abound, relatively near to me. At best, about 2 hours away, to sand dollar strewn shores (in the summer!). The best place is, of course, Tofino, on the West Coast of Vancouver Island, about 5 hours drive from my home. I had not known of Sandburg’s quote! Thank you!
