The entire post is a feast for the senses and leaves one wrapped in Feeling. I love how you graphically set up the words, your font is awesome. The look is just as important as the sound. You seem to have mastered both.
(BTW: love this picture, the face on the left driftwood piece is priceless, especially his big googly EYE.)

    • Thank you, again! And I must give YOU 100% credit! I was thrilled to read your Shadorma and ‘sprang into action’! The face! I had originally thought it might be a fossilized spout from an orca, but a face never occurred to me!

I LOVE that pic! The face is part wizard, part ghost. Gave chills down my spine. And the words were perfect for it. I wish my theme allowed for such interesting font choices. Soooo glad I lit a fire under your, um, creativity. BTW: went to Kira’s site and was amazed by it. You are right, she and her site are very inspirational, and since share some of the same issues and likes I am going to be an eager follower, so thank you for that!

        • Again, thank you! WOW – YOU are the one with imagination, seeing a Wizard Ghost combo there! All the Driftwood Dragons in my backyard garden are now … Wizards and Ghosts! 🙂

In just six lines you’re able to capture beauty perfectly. I am impressed, but not surprised because all of your poems that I have read breathe these images to life or create masterpieces within my mind’s eye. I truly am grateful that I came across this blog — it’s definitely one of my favorites. 🙂

this was wonderful! It went perfectly with your photo…which is beautiful by the way. There is something about this Poetry Form that allows words to flow.

These words and the picture belong together, as if they’re incomplete without it. Coincidental perfection

  9. Beautiful words and image here. I am blessed with this image right outside my front windows…this is very close to me.

I once thought I was not too bad with exotic poetry but you have shown me how very lovely and unique the Japanese forms can be. Perfect, shy
